- Enjoys Flat Water and White Water Kayaking.
- Teaches White Water Kayaking to Boy and Girl Scouts
- Works with the Montgomery County Animal Shelter and Montgomery County Humane Society on FM 242.
- Owns a young Dachshund, Penny; young West Highland White terrier, Pearl; a young Poodle/Yorkshire Terrier, Houdini and young Kitty Purr which is a tabby point Siamese. All are rescued.
